No, your information is completely protected by YepText. You can further ensure the privacy of your information by never giving out your password or login information. We also recommend changing your password regularly. Credit card details and similar valuable information will not be saved in our database system.

I own a website and want to provide Text Messaging to my clients through my website. Can I use YepText for this? We offer custom solutions to accommodate your Text Messaging demands. Please contact us for more customized service solutions.   Can I create more than one keyword, or "Yepword" to track multiple mobile campaigns? Yes, but you might need to upgrade your plan. Some of our pricing plans include more than one "Yepword" for tracking multiple text message campaigns at once.

What are keywords, or "Yepwords"? The unique word that your customers text to 41242 from a mobile phone is called a keyword or `Yepword´. When your customers send the `Yepword´ to a short code number, their mobile number will be added to your list of mobile phone numbers. Example: `Text DEALS to 41242* to sign up for special deals´

Do I need a Yepword to register for YepText? Yes, your entire account is centered on your unique Yepword. We are only able to tell that a client has signed up for your list if they used your unique Yepword. You will need to tell people about this short code number in order to grow your list of mobile text subscribers

What will I receive when I register with YepText.com? What are some ways to build my list of mobile text subscribers? You should begin by thinking of every customer (or fan)touch point that you have. Here are some places that you could put your Yepword and short code number (41242) so that people will see it and opt in: Emails, table displays, window displays, invoices, checks, bathroom stalls, high traffic areas in your store, website, business facebook fan page, business twitter page, press releases, print ads, tv ads, radio ads, social media ads, yellow page ads, youtube videos/ads, online articles, car wraps, billboard advertising, flyers, ect... Just remember that you need to give the customer a reason to opt in; maybe a coupon, or a discount.

Is it possible to send mass text messages to my entire list? You may send out mass text messages to as many people on your list as you would like, as long as they have chosen to receive messages from you. You are not authorized to send text messages to anyone who has not opted in to receive them. If you send messages to anyone who has not requested them, your account will be banned.

Can people respond to my bulk text messages? Yes. This is a great way to create a two-way dialogue directly with your customers or fans.

How much does it cost to send a single message? It costs one credit to send one text message. The credit will be automatically deducted from your available credits when you send the text. The number of credits that you start with will vary, depending on the plan that you have signed up for.

Are replies FREE of charge? Yes, you will not be charged for incoming text messages (SMS).

How many characters long can my text message be; how much can I say in each text message? Due to the limitations of many mobile phones, we recommend keeping text messages under 145 characters. The remainder of the message should be legal information, including instructions on unsubscribing, which will automatically be included.

Once I send a text message, how long does it take to be delivered? Messages are usually delivered instantly. It is possible, however, that messages may be delayed slightly during peak usage times, or when cell phones are out of their coverage area. Also, with YepText, you have the ability to schedule when you would like the text to be sent, and subsequently received.

Is there a limit to the number of outgoing text messages that I can send? No, as long as you stay within YepText´s terms of use, there will be no limit to the number of outgoing text messages that you may send. See our Terms & Conditions for more information.

Why are some of my text messages not being delivered? There are several reasons why this might happen. Typically, it is the result of a problem with the recipient´s cell phone service. They may have a pre-paid phone that cannot receive text messages. They may have run out of text messages on their monthly cell-phone plan. The recipient may be out of range, or it could even be a wrong number. If you do experience this problem do not hesitate to contact our phone support for further information.

Will I be charged for text messages that were not received? We provide a service that allows you to send mass text messages. There are many reasons why a text message may not be received. Unfortunately, they are all beyond our control. It is the recipient´s mobile service provider that is responsible for ensuring that their customer receives messages. You will not be charged for messages that aren´t sent, but we cannot be held liable for messages that aren´t received.

Will my subscribers or myself ever receive advertising messages from a third party? No, for your safety, and the safety of your clients, we offer a Global Opt-Out™ option that will enter the users contact information into a database of contacts that do not want to receive any messages.

Are text messages guaranteed to be delivered to my subscribers? No. There are many reasons why a message may not be delivered. Unfortunately, they are all beyond our control. We can only guarantee that the messages will be sent. There is no way that we can guarantee delivery, as delivery is a service offered by the recipients mobile service provider.

What keyboard characters does your service support, and are there ways to create characters using code? What if I need access to a new local cellular network carrier? We are frequently adding new mobile networks to out list. If there is a network that you would like us to add to our coverage, please send us a message that includes the name of the network and the country. We will do our best to add all necessary networks to our list.
